The ARKA Foundation was founded
with the aim of creating awareness and promoting the needs and rights of
persons with special needs in Gozo and possibly be of help to other people
with disability problems.
This is the website of the Society
of the Assumption, patroness of the village of Mqabba and of the Maltese
islands. Each year the Club Fireworks team organises the best pyrotechnic
show on the island on the 14th of August, from 21:45 till midnight non
stop. This is the opinion of the (literally) thousands of Maltese and tourists
who annually visit the village on the eve of the feast of the patroness.
On the 14th of August Mqabba is the place to be!
