250 year old farmhouse has been expertly converted into a four bedroom
vacation home. The views from 'Dar il-Merill' are simply breathtaking.
From this farmhouse one can practically view the whole of the island, the
channel and parts of Malta. It is situated in the village of Kercem. Kercem
is a small peaceful village with just a little over 1700 inhabitants,
located in the western part of the island, with large rural areas reaching
up to the cliffs. One can go for lovely walks to the majestic cliffs overlooking
the resort of Xlendi Bay. Kercem is just  five
minutes away from the main town of Victoria. The farmhouse consists
of one double bedroom on the ground floor with a bathroom ensuite`, a fully
equipped kitchen, a lovely dining room and lounge. The main entrance
is an alley, and leads directly to a courtyard. From the lounge you can
see the back of the farmhouse, where a large twenty six feet by sixteen
feet pool is located. Upstairs you'll find the other three bedrooms, one
with ensuite` shower and another full bathroom. Also on the first floor
there is a very large terrace, from where you can enjoy all the wonderful
views. Access to the first floor is either from an external stairs, or
an internal spiral staircase. This farmhouse is equipped with satellite
TV and is furnished mostly in gorgeous antique furniture. |
